• Cliowin with PB-4281 PCI board error messages

    Before proceeding further be sure to have Chapter 3 of CLIOwin User’s Manual in front of you.

    CLIOwin 7 with PB4281 PCI board error messages

    Possible cause
    64
    		 There are problems with Audio Device selection.
    Referring to figure 5.9 verify the device settings. Select ‘CLIO PB4281’ for Playback, Capture and Mixer.
    65
    		 The PB4281 PCI card is not registered or disabled.
    Referring to figure 3.10 you would either not find the “CLIO PB4281 PCI Audio” driver or find it disabled by Windows (with a yellow exclamation mark aside). Please repeat the procedures described in Chapter 3, also trying to change the PCI slot where you mounted the board.

    		 There are problems with the serial link.
    The software setup (see 6.3.6) is not correct or you didn’t connect the RS-232 cable. The most common situation is when you connected the CLIO box to COM port 2 and you didn’t select it from File>Setup>Hardware (see 6.3.6). After selecting the correct COM port you may receive “Error 0”; in this case please just exit and re enter CLIOwin.

    		 The hardware is not installed.
    This error is given if you run CLIOwin in a computer where the hardware has not been installed.
